This last month I read one of the most amazing book series by Susan May Warren and Tari Faris. It was based at the Grand Canyon North Rim. Here's part of my review from the first book in the series: Oh, My Word! Every time I read a book written by Susan May Warren, I am amazed at all the action and adventures her characters encounter.

This story hit my heart in many ways because I remember driving past the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and wanting to visit but not having time. Now, that will never happen because of the fire last year that devastated the lodge.

However, I got a feel for it in this story. The way Suan May Warren and Tari Faris wrote this book had me dreaming of what it looked like. Their words brought life to the Canyon, and all the colorful images they wrote wove an amazing tale.

Not only did this book have colorful images, but it also featured heart-stopping adventures that are so true to these authors’ writing.

I was captivated from the get-go and didn’t want to put it down.

In my review for book two I wrote this: I’m not one who likes to go hiking or crawling in caves. I hate tight places, so throughout this book I found myself holding my breath and just waiting for the characters to get out into the fresh air.

An added fun to these stories of the amazing rangers and staff at the Grand Canyon North Rim was the hunt for the gold. Wow! What a crazy twist to have to deal with!

And this is from my review for book three: One of the most thrilling and action-packed stories and series I’ve read in a while!

I have truly loved all of the books in this series. Each one has captured my heart in different ways!

From the grandeur of the Grand Canyon setting to the amazingly extreme adventures each book deals with. Wow! I was captivated and taken on an adventure of a lifetime.

In this story, we read about Teague and his drive to be a risk-taker because if he stops, the pain from his past might overwhelm him. We also get to know Eden, her hidden story, and why she’s such a “by the books,” “safety first” kind of gal. Both of their pasts haunt them, and they feel like they can never break free to really soar. I Highly Highly recommend you pick up this series for a GREAT end of the summer reading time!
